"One grecian ..."

I can easily sum up this picture in one word:
AMBIEN!!
I'm not sure I like admitting to taking this medication.
Everyone has heard the stories of people and their "Ambien trips".
I had to share mine because it is (In the words of my lovely friend, Andrea) RICH.
Soooooo the other night I did my "get ready for bed routine" which consists of:
Wash face
Brush teeth
Brush hair (I like brushing my hair at night- poofy)
Rubbing Vitamin E on scars
Meditating/ bedtime yoga
Texting Brett "I love you"
Facebooking
Blogging
Tweeting
Annnnd on some nights, the most interesting: partaking Ambien
This particular night I checked Julie's blog. She puts together the cutest outfits.
I took my Ambien and was almost asleep when I got a text.
I checked my phone and got up to get a drink. I drink a lot when I am "Abienified" I somehow end up with liters of apple juice or bottles of Matinellis that are sadly empty by the morning.
Upon returning to my room I saw my cute new peach top draped over the chair.
I remember thinking, "I should take cute pictures of my new shirt like Julie does."
So I put on my shirt, the jeans I was planning on wearing with my shirt and some pearls and disappeared into the bathroom for hair and makeup. Which obviously turned out terrible. Look at that picture people! Look at it!
Then I started my photo op.... In the hallway. In front of the mirror. Best lighting I assume.
I was full on posing in front of the mirror snapping pictures.
These weren't cute pictures in the least. I wasn't posing very well either. My poses were very strange. Like Grecian urn material. (In my opinion, models should scratch the sexy poses they do now and resort back to "Grecian-chic"
87 pictures later I went back into my room.
It doesn't end here.
I uploaded my newly snapped pictures on my computer and edited a few. I posted them on Facebook. Luckily I intercepted them before many people saw them. I think...
After I was satisfied with my editing, I slipped back into my pajamas and went to sleep.
Here's the best part:
I didn't remember one bit of this strange picture party until noonish the next day. Jeri called from work and informed me of my Ambien photo shoot. She had been asleep in the room next to me. She didn't want to startle me so she sat through thirty minutes of an Ambien induced photo shoot. She told me to check my camera and sure enough there were my Grecian urn posing pictures.
I started to piece my night together.
Sigh...
On the plus side (this is one of those "plus side" moments were it only looks good if you squint your eyes, turn off the light, and stand on one foot) I got moody pictures out of this.
Annnd I have a new found appreciation for never needed to use blush.
...That could have been messy...
