It's Friday, I'm in love!

Today work was... work.
I found myself progressively being wound tighter and tighter with each passing hour. It was slow for a Friday. I liked that.
I was pretty fussy today. There was no midol left. I felt bad for anyone working with me because I was the epitome of the employee no one wants to work with. I was snappy, sharp, antsy, lazy, emotional, tired and whiny. Then within 2 minutes I was the complete opposite. On top of that I felt like there was a marque over my head projecting my thoughts to everyone. I guess it's just all of my current events catching up with me. I suppose the stench of fresh sliced turkey, roast beef, and tomatoes at 8 am tipped the scale as well.
Wine was spilled down my white shirt. I bought a bright orange shirt at the general store. Yes, that's right. ORANGE. If you know me, you know I don't wear color. This was a big step for me and I'm glad I did it.
After work I got a new phone. I went to the bank. The teller was very nice and gave me a sucker. Watermelon dum-dum to be precise. I felt like a little kid. But after a day of being uptight and smelling of chardonnay, bank-teller-man giving that stupid watermelon dum-dum was the perfect invite to start winding down for my lovely Friday night.

Jeri and I got home around the same time. We went to a late showing of Julie and Julia.
Other than being a bit longer than I'd expect and making me very hungry at a inconvenient hour I liked the movie. I enjoyed my Friday night. Very low key, very mellow, very nice.
